Bugs / Re: Save as Midi File
« on: January 31, 2010, 01:20:42 AM »
Hi Lepatoche,

I have found the reason for both problems you are experiencing. First one is already fixed but second is a bit more complex. It is related to the SYSEX events spanning between two or more blocks of Roland song. It will take me some time to fix this issue so for the moment if the SYSEX is not crucial for you I advice you to delete it from your songs and you can convert it without problems.

cheers

Bugs / ToneEd crash when importing wave
« on: January 17, 2010, 02:50:24 AM »
Hi guys,

I have fixed few issues connected to Tone Editor. In particular:

- when importing wave with odd lenght editor crashed
- context menu was not disabled on ROM nodes allowing to import wave into ROM banks

http://smfw30.svetlik.be/download/ToneEdv1033.zip

Please download patched dll unzip it and overwrite old one in C:\Program Files\Miro Svetlik\SMFW30. SMFW30 must be of course closed when doing so. I am currently busy with MIDIEd fixing so when I am done I will create new official version.

best regards

Hi,

thanks for posting the diskimages I will do some debugging asap  ;). Problem with the MIDI import and export is that there is no info about Roland internal format so I majorly reverse engineered it by try & fail method which of course is not the most reliable. But with this new data I shall be able to see what is going on ;).

Well SMFW30 is a shareware so it lets you to try full product 10 times and then it locks it self. If you liked the program and want to continue using it you can purchase registration code for 10 EURO and I will gladly send you registration code. This code is for all versions of SMFW30 and it does not expire. Registration includes email support as well. I am sorry that it is not clearly stated on the website but I have been quite busy with my other projects. In any case I will add link to registration today. Registration process is though described in Help of SMFW30. Just click Help button and find the section registration, there is even direct "Buy" button from PayPal to make things easy.

regards
